Knitted in Isager Strik Alpaca 1 held together with the same brand Silk Mohair. Such a light cardigan!

Pattern

Pattern by me – a simple raglan cardigan from bottom-up.

something else to say abt this knit

After this knit i have switched my raglan knits to top-bottom. This turned out perfect! but i just don’t like the feel of a made to order knit. They are difficult – in my opinion – to get perfect.

New for me

nothing really. Rarely have used 2,75mm needles. Rocked some serious magic loop with this.

something else to say abt this knit

Nothing really. A super fun and EASY knit to do. Absolutely love the finish. I wanted a modern 80-90’s style furry-ball sweater and i got it 😀 yay!

My creation. This was a thank-you for good friend. It took me months to finish.. and it got LARGE! 😀 It ended up being a bit of a lengthy shawl. But worth it. I divided the knit into 4 themes – inspired from pictures taken by @heiniak (as this shawl was for her):

  • Aurora borealis with dark blue night sky
  • Heatherfield in the frosty autumn sun
  • Sunset into the frosty Northern Ocean
  • Rocky Shores of The Gulf of Bothnia

Pattern

Straight from this nut – with inspiration from: Halfway Wrap (by Veera Välimäki) and Geysir Stretch (by Stephen West)
