my Nuuk in stripes

21/01/2018

This t-shirt pattern was easy to follow and a great knit. So far i have finished two of these – all with some variations into the original pattern. Different neckline, longer sleeves, very long sleeves.

my Textured

17/08/2017

Knitted in DROPS Puna and Istex Lettlopi. My first go with both yarns. This was an interesting knit, must say. But. The outcome just didn’t seem right. It’s not a relaxed sweater – for sure. She shoulders are just too slim for my taste. But the yarn is yummy. Soft and warm. I think i might knit this one again, maybe mix one size (on shoulders) with the M size body.

After this knit i have switched my raglan knits to top-bottom. This turned out perfect! but i just don’t like the feel of a made to order knit. They are difficult – in my opinion – to get perfect.

nothing really. Rarely have used 2,75mm needles. Rocked some serious magic loop with this.

something else to say abt this knit

Nothing really. A super fun and EASY knit to do. Absolutely love the finish. I wanted a modern 80-90’s style furry-ball sweater and i got it 😀 yay!

Flowers in the Moss land

02/02/2017

Knitted in DROPS alpaca mix yarn. A comfy tunic. Used some wooden beads. I know.. “wood? what an imbecile” – but i wanted them wooden.. sweaters in my opinion are not supposed to washed in a heavy wash again and again. So.. the wooden beads are a perfect texture for this knit. And also.. i have given up 100% in using plastic in anyway in knitting. Yarn or additions. Ugh. No thanks. something else to say abt this knit

Raglan in my opinion is the most easiest sweater style to knit. Thou with this i started from the hem – lately i’ve only knitted sweaters top-down hence them fitting better. And with this.. bottom-up sweater the sleeves did turn out about 5cm too long 🙁 darn. But! it’s for me and it’s comfy as DAMN 😀
