Pumpkin Spice pullover

I’ve always wanted to experience the real Halloween: tastes, festivities, zombies – the lot. In Finland we don’t celebrate Halloween. Not really. Just not part of our culture. For the kiddos we have the Easter when they go out knocking down doors demanding candy.

This year I had the opportunity to travel to the California, US to at least try the tastes. I visited a friend in late Autumn. Just before Halloween, so the tastes was all that was available. Pumpkin this, pumpkin that. Pumpkins! We only have pickled pumpkin salad here -> super rare (who, why or with what to eat it with?). I’ve always loved the Pumpkin Spice latte from Starbucks, kinda like a Chai Latte infused into Coffee. Sweet & Spicy, thou hold the whip cream, too much. Even Starbucks is rare here. Finland sucks – MAD! 😀 joke!

Anyway. During my visit, I tried to consume as many pumpkin spice latte’s as possible, try out local pumpkin spiced food -> donuts, scones, bread, porridge?, marshmallows ..uuh yeah!

then.. i got back home and saw on a local coffee shop window an add for pumpkin spice latte.. #fail 😀

Pumpkin Spice latte is the origin behind the colors for this pullover. Super boring – am aware. I dyed the MC my self from sport weight 100% superwash merino. The off-white is a furry alpaca&wool (90/10) by Gjestal.

This pullover is just one of many knits inspired from my trip to California. I’ll publish them as fast as I can knit them.

Notes

This is a very simple pullover worked from top down. Shoulders are worked with regular intervals. Keeping count is easy but important. Most complicated part in this knit might be the slipped-stitch color change.

This pattern is written clean from my notes, if you spot a mistake in language or something just feels wrong, please let me know thru here.

This is a written out pattern, and only in english & in metrics.
